News at Force Research:
October 24-26, 2007 - Force Research’s Managing Director and renowned Asia-Pacific Researcher, Hamish Liu, attended and hosted his own workshop at the 22nd Annual QRCA Conference held in breathtaking Vancouver, Canada at the Westin Bayshore Resort Hotel. Hamish’s Workshop was entitled “Qualitative Research in China and the West: What Can We Learn from Each Other?” discussing the differences and similarities between Eastern and Western qualitative research. The workshop was a great success, as was the rest of the conference. Much fun was had by all, and much insight and knowledge was exchanged by attendees. Thanks go out to everyone that attended Hamish’s workshop, as well as conference organizers. We would like to congratulate the organizers of this QRCA conference for putting on such a successful conference!

October 10-12, 2007 - Managing Director, Hamish Liu, moved onto beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona where the 32nd Annual CASRO Conference was held at the Four Seasons Resort. We are proud to be an official sponsor of this year’s CASRO Conference. This year’s conference theme was “Innovation Applied: Creative Approaches to Meet Client and Market Demands”. It was a pleasure to be able to gleam so much insight from such a large gathering of research business leaders. Thanks go out to David N. Richardson (Artemis Strategy Group), David Goulait (P&G), David Williams (Best Buy), and Kevin Menk (Strategic Resource Partners, L.L.C) for putting on such great workshops. Congratulations go out to the Conference Organizers for putting on such a successfully run conference.

October 3-6, 2007 - Force Research’s Managing Director, Hamish Liu, was in attendance at the 2007 MSPA Annual Conference held in San Francisco, USA at the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf. Reunions with many friends and peers, as well as networking with new ones happened at the conference; many thanks go out to all the individuals who prepped great informative sessions for all conference participants. Though Force Research was only able to attend a couple workshops we would like to extend our thanks out to Daniel Abramson (StaffDynamics), Jeff Hall (Second To None, Inc.), and Vickie Henry (Feedback Plus, Inc.) for putting on great informative sessions, rest assured that much was learned. Congratulations on a successful conference!

July 6, 2007 – Porsche held a World Road Show at the Beijing Goldenport International Circuit where attendees took part in training to drive Porsche vehicles by test driving many models on various terrain as well as being taken for exciting drives by professional drivers. Force Research Managing Director Hamish Liu took the training and came away with an amazing experience he will never forget.

June 8, 2007 – The 2nd Annual Air China Cup Golf Tournament was held at Tianzhu Golf club with Force Research’s Managing Director Hamish Liu participating. Playing several very competitive rounds of golf against skilled competition, our MD was able to come away with the top prize- Congratulations!

November 8-10, 2006 – Force Research was one of the event organizers of the 2nd Annual MSPA AP conference was held at the lovely Crowne Plaza Hotel in Beijing. It was a very successful conference that allowed MSPA AP members to network and listen to captivating speakers impart knowledge and experience.

September 18-20, 2006 – The 2006 ESOMAR Congress was held in QEII Convention Center, London. Force Research staff attended the conference.

December 8-10, 2005 – Force Research along with other esteemed colleagues and peers attended the very first annual Mystery Shopping Provider’s Association Asia Pacific (MSPA AP)Chapter’s annual conference held in Singapore at the Le Meridien Hotel. It was very informative and provided a great opportunity to network with other MSPA AP members.

November 27-28, 2004 – Force Research along with our esteemed peers gathered at the Conrad hotel in Bangkok to form the Asia Pacific chapter of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA). We are honored to be part of such a historical event for our industry in the Asia Pacific region, and will strive to uphold the rules and regulations that we put down to ensure high quality and more ethical practices for Mystery Shopping in China and Asia Pacific .
