A Tale of Two Cities

An U.S.-based international hotel chain contacted us to conduct a target market study that emphasized frequent customers of the chain. The difficulty: Frequent hotel users are often on the road and are rarely in the city where the studies are based, making recruitment an obstacle to overcome.

Our client also wanted local hotel management to help oversee the project. We worked closely with hotel management in the two major cities, Beijing and Shanghai, to develop a cohesive team in a short period of time.

We recruited loyal guests so that interviews and field discussion groups would occur when Beijing residents were in Shanghai, and Shanghai residents in Beijing. Through teamwork, patience and coordination, we provided perfect results to the client.
